He is extremely helpful, caring and goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. There has been so many times and days where AJ has gone above and beyond and did as much as he could to assist me. You can tell he truly cares about the customers and loves his job. He is outgoing and very knowledgeable on anything. Anyday I walk in here and I see AJ I know I'm getting taken care of. Asked about the difference between a Glock 19 Gen5 and an Sig P320 Compact—basic stuff for carry options. Which I already knew I mean I carry a Stacatto HD P4 for Gods sake. The “specialist” stared at the case like it was written in hieroglyphics, then muttered, “They both go bang.” No talk of grip angle, trigger feel, or aftermarket support. I knew more than he did after one Google search. Inventory? Laughable. Half the pistol cases were empty or had scratched-up floor models with no mags. Waited 20 minutes for a key, only to hear the gun I wanted was “somewhere in the warehouse” and would take an hour. It never appeared. Paperwork hell. Their dinosaur computer froze three times during the 4473. Clerk misspelled my address twice, blamed NICS, and made me start over. Total time at the counter: 75 minutes for a transfer that should’ve taken 15. Pricing scam. Shelf tag on a Shield Plus: $449. Register: $569. Manager smirked, said “tags aren’t updated,” and wouldn’t budge. Bait-and-switch 101. Skip the circus. Hit a real gun store where staff know pistols and respect your time. Bass Pro’s handgun section is a shiny waste of space. Never again.
