  Check your receipt BEFORE you leave the store. Cashier did a "price check" on a pair of pants for $58.00. I said, no thanks but she put them on my JC Penney card anyway. Yes, it was a mistake on her part. However, if I had not checked my receipt BEFORE I left the store and had gone home, there would have been no way to prove that I actually did not take the pants home with me, because according to the receipt, I purchased the pants for $58.00. So I had left the line and just happened to have the foresight to have checked my receipt at the front door before I actually left the store and went outside. Thank God I did. They are SO understaffed. Also, I do not recommend shopping here if you need to be anywhere in a timely manner. It really took forever to check out; truly, much longer than it should have taken. I was trying to be patient and kind, but today was not a positive experience at all. Makes me wonder if they are going to go out of business just like Sears.

  I shopped on Saturday, February 14th as well as returned a dress purchased the week before. Jenna at the cashier desk was so helpful and did not only the return there; she also made sure I received the proper discounts on my shirts purchased as well as use my $10 rewards. It was a pleasant experience and I do enjoy coming back to shop there. Kudos again to Jenna - kind and courteous! Louisa Trevisan

  I love JC Penny's. People forget that we still have one, but I didn't. They have great deals on clothes, and thats where I would go for most of my kids school clothes. I hope we never lose them.
