Very uncomfortable in-store experience.😄 I was standing by the hat section and briefly video calling a friend to confirm whether she wanted me to purchase a hat for her. A staff member immediately told me not to record, which I understood and stopped. However, the same staff member continued to follow me to another area of the store. Since the hats had no price tags, I tried to scan or take a photo of the QR code just to check the price, and I was again told not to take photos. The repeated monitoring and tone made me feel extremely uncomfortable, as if I was doing something wrong, when I was simply trying to shop. I expect better customer service and a more respectful approach, especially from a brand like Ralph Lauren.

This is one of the most infuriating and unacceptable shopping experiences I have ever had. I came to this Polo Ralph Lauren Outlet store planning to purchase around ten T-shirts in different colors and styles. These are basic outlet items, priced around $30–40 after discounts. There is absolutely nothing luxury or restricted about them. However, the store manager stopped me and said I was only allowed to buy ONE T-shirt — no matter the color or style. This is outrageous. This is an OUTLET store. The entire purpose is discounted shopping and buying multiple items. I have shopped at many other Ralph Lauren Outlet locations across the U.S. and have never heard of such a ridiculous rule. The manager offered no explanation, no policy, nothing. Just a firm ā€œYou can only buy one.ā€ The tone was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. What makes this situation even worse is that I later checked the reviews online and found that MANY Asian customers reported the exact same problem at this location. They were also limited to one item or treated differently for no reason. After reading those experiences, it is extremely hard not to feel that this store is targeting Asian shoppers. Whether they admit it or not, this behavior absolutely looks like racial discrimination. I felt humiliated, disrespected, and furious. I drove all the way to this mall, selected my items, and was ready to spend my money — only to be told I could buy one cheap T-shirt like I was doing something wrong. Meanwhile, other customers in the store were not treated this way. Why only me? Why only other Asian shoppers? This is unacceptable. No customer should ever walk into a store and feel singled out because of their race or appearance. The manager’s behavior was completely discriminatory, and I am extremely disappointed that a brand like Ralph Lauren would allow this kind of treatment to happen repeatedly. I am filing a formal complaint and hope the company seriously investigates this location. Proper training and accountability are clearly needed. I will never return to this store again, and I strongly encourage others — especially Asian customers — to be aware of this discriminatory behavior before shopping here. Absolutely unacceptable.

Ok, that’s talk about my real experience on 3/17, Tuesday Night about 6:30pm. The store manager, her name is Michelle . I feel like she is very arrogant and disrespect to me. She told me , no taking the picture in the store, no pick all the women sweaters which size of XL , no pick the T-shirt quantity over 2, no matter is women or men , no pick the item quantity over 15 when I go to registration. She told me I only can shop this location to take the sweater 2 items PERR WEEK ( How dear she!!!), she say because she need to other XL size to sale to other Easter customer . She told me I can only pick the item’s Color wherever she pick for me ( the attitude like , you want but , you will get that , don’t want, just leave) . She told me only 2 T-shirts if I want it more is no way ( though the other sale person). She told me about this store policy which is No Duplicate Clearance items ( I take 2 same clearance items to the registration , she say NO ). She was try to bring a Small Sign to show me about the police ( sorry , such as small text , who can read clearly? It’s that mean All the item is LITM FOR ME. OLNY ME) . She try to follow me to tell me something, I say please stop following me and talking me . ( because I feel offended!) . Anyway , during the whole shopping process, I felt as she was watching me like monitoring. She seems to be briefing other sale person on what to do later if I finished shop and go to registration. Wow , no image her to do for, when I finished shop , She stepped past her subordinates to ring me up personally. Amusingly enough—thanks to her careful curation—the 15 items I had intended to purchase were whittled down to just 10. I told her, I have my own coupon, so I want to 15 items to check out , then I can use that, is anything else I can buy for this store! Her attitude was very tough, ā€œ No , just pick different item then finish your shop!ā€ Ok, fine! Finally, I say , I don’t want anything now even the all the items was scanned. Very ridiculous thing is No one try to keep me! ( is not a small money of the items is 15, they don’t want my money, they don’t need my money 🤣🤣🤣 ! Anyway , I guess this manger is RACIST , because I am Asian , she has been making difficult for me and trying to making argue with me all the time. I had asked her why you not nice to me and what’s wrong for me? She just arrogant to say , ā€œMiss, I’m Niceā€. Hahahaha , such as funny jokes! I can telly anything from her face. I know I am not a good writer which is lot of the incorrect grammar, but I don’t care , I just want to everyone know how mad when I at this situation. Thanks for everyone who can read this writing.
