Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

- JAJessica AcostaOct 12, 20254.0Missing a star because it is extremely dusty and hair on the seats to try on shoes. It should be apart of the opening and closing crew to clean thoroughly. As I have worked for retail for years - so am aware that this should be protocol. Other people were sneezing in the store as well - so it wasn’t just us.
- EVErica VJan 15, 20245.0I came here on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. Out of all the stores I went to, the Lulu Lemon employee at the front behind the counter was the only person in the whole mall to greet me when I walked in! So refreshing. Although it was my first time in and it was overwhelming as I wasn’t sure how to tell who was an employee at first (they usually have a red Fanny pack/bag), I ended up asking a woman named Shannon for help. She was in the middle of folding clothes but stopped, was so polite, and friendly and didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience at all. She explained the different kind of pants/tops, styles, materials and why the differences matter & for what. She also explained how some pants like the wonder leggings you should size up as they are compression or if you should wear a bra with this top, etc. She was super helpful, got me into a fitting room, and since I was shopping alone I asked for her help on the fit/look after I tried them on & she was great! I know it’s her job to sell but it also felt like I was shopping with a friend. I really appreciated her advice and patience. I ended up buying a new set and will be back for more. Was rudely asked “Is there a direction, I can point you in or something?” After cautiously walking into the store, as to not collide with a couple who was simultaneously entering. I was then watched by staff throughout my very, brief visit. This isn’t my first ‘racial experience’ with Lululemon. I’m sick of the lack of diversity in staff. It’s always the same cookie-cutter, privileged, Kayla or Jen who thinks she can speak down to POC. I am a fitness professional and I will never be supporting this brand. Do better Lululemon.
