  I used to love L.L. Bean. We just visited their flagship store on a trip this summer. I'm beyond disappointed in watching them stay silent ad the public lands that made their family so wealthy are in danger. I'll be switching to companies that speak up for our lands, like Marmot, Patagonia, REI, Orvis, Columbia, Osprey, and so many other companies that still have a soul.

  Legit store, or rather, compound of stores. Friendliest employees ever. I wore a smiley face rain slicker - I got so many compliments on it while exploring… if they start selling one next year I want some $$

  L.L. Bean has taken the position that it won’t support the Save the Forest Service movement, with messaging along the lines of avoiding political engagement. BS. Get it together, this is crap. Won’t buy from you again and neither should anyone else.

  I Lost my wallet, got a phone call and had planned to go Pick up my wallet and then they claimed that they burn everything that has been found in their safe after a few weeks? I think that it should be illegal for them to do that because they could have easily just turned it into a police station. So now my husband is there asking for proof that it was completely destroyed, because otherwise I don't trust that somebody didn't steal my wallet and has my social.My credit cards debit cards everything. I would not recommend going to the store. Mind you, some people dont ALWAYS have transportation to pick up when asked
