  I stopped by this store shortly before they closed this evening. I found a few items to purchase and also found the staff to be incredibly friendly, especially a young woman by the name of Alicia (if I remember correctly, her last name is Knight). She was super helpful and I look forward to going back soon.

  was never my favorite, but it seems to be more organized now. the downside is it seemed to have a lot more empty shelves. prices are still not amazing. it’s pretty weird getting here from padonia rd (i make a wrong turn every time — it’s the first street behind the ROFO which could be indicated better). Not a huge selection, i prefer the savers in parkville on that front.

  GW Timonium is a far cry from just a few years ago when they used to put a constant array of interesting products on the floor and reasonably priced (instead of now cherry-picking the quality stuff to be sent elsewhere). One very bright spot that remains is their assistant manager, Alicia Knight. She cheerfully greets the regulars by name and is very helpful with the many situations that can crop up with confusion surrounding pricing or anything else. Her customer service is so unusual and welcoming and much appreciated!

  The store was having a 50 percent off sale. My wife wanted to go to see what it was like. We arrived at opening time. In minutes, there was a line around the inner circumference of the building. The line took over 1 hour to negotiate for checkout. If there is reason to return, I don't plan to attend, Most of the shoppers I spoke with in line indicated that this situation was more normal than not. I will be skeptical on that issue.

  50% OFF Today on EVERYTHING! Turned out to be a Bait and Switch. After we filled our carts, they made an announcement over the microphone that NONE of the new items were 50% off. Also they removed all the dresses from the boutique wall and a lot of the electronics from the shelves.
