  I've been shopping at AE for years, up until this week. I ordered a pair of jeans in a size 6 extra short online, as they don't carry that inseam length in store. Ive been ordering my denim extra short for as long as I can remember. The lady who worked the front counter was more than accommodating and very friendly. When I try on the jeans, I noticed the inseam is shorter than usual and it was visibly noticeable. When I tried them on, the sales tag ended up poking my back to the point where I had to remove it myself. I go to return them, and I'm told I cannot return them due to not having the tag. Ok, fine. No problem. I actually ended up buying the same pair of jeans the same day with the longer inseam. The girl at the counter was so nice she encouraged me to apply for a credit card to receive an extra $15 off my purchase. So, I'm in Rehoboth yesterday, and this time I brought the tag with me. I go to the counter and the mgr tells me that the tag has to be INTACT in order to return them. I couldn't even do an even exchange. Apparently this 'rule' was put into affect over a year ago. I called customer service and I was given the same information. Had I been informed sooner about this new company wide regulation I wouldve held off. Due to this unfortunate incident that I attempted to resolve over the last 3 days, I have no choice but to look elsewhere for denim.
