When I went to thr register I was told they could only give me 30% off because they were in the process of changing the signs out. I told them I thought I should get the 40% since that is what they were marked as. More senior person came over and adjusted to 30% off but wouldn't give me 40%. She said "she's only human" and hadn't had time to switch out all the signs yet. I told her that isn't my problem. I think they should have honored the 40%. No apologies were offered for the issue either. Not great customer service in my opinion.
