  As a loyal, long-time JCPenney customer I would like to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your JCPenney Store #2732, Columbia Mall, 10300 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD 21044. I visited the store on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:15 AM. During my visit, I intended to purchase an item clearly tagged at the price of $9.99. However, when I reached the register, the item scanned at a significantly higher price $30.00. The associate promptly call the general manager Oleg and another female manger named Laurie manager. When I requested that the store honor the tagged price—a standard retail expectation and the experience I have had with other stores including Macy and Nordstrom, the manager on duty, refused to assist me. Not only was the pricing error not honored, but the manager’s demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional. I was treated with a level of rudeness that I did not expect from a brand I have supported for many years. As a result of this interaction: * I felt undervalued as a long-term customer. * The pricing discrepancy was never resolved. * I left the store without the item with a very poor impression of your current leadership at this location. I have decided that I will not be shopping at JCPennys and will recommend that to my friends and family as well

  JCPenney is undoubtedly one of the best places to shop for high-quality garments. Whenever I visit the USA, I never miss the opportunity to stop by this store. They offer a wide variety of clothing for all age groups, with excellent quality, beautiful designs, and eye-catching styles. The selection is so extensive that it can be difficult to decide what to choose. The store gives customers the freedom to explore and find exactly what suits their taste. The staff are very efficient, friendly, and always willing to help. During my most recent visit, I met Porchu, who was working at one of the counters. She was extremely efficient, helpful, and served customers in a very professional manner. Her excellent service made the shopping experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality clothing and great customer service.

  Normally I go to the JC Penney at Marley station. It’s bigger and we rarely ever wait. Tried the Columbia location Monday. We got there early. We had to wait over 15 mins, at least 20+. During the shoot there were so many different complications with the camera and sensor not working. So on different times with a 3 and 5 year old who are antsy we had to pose a certain way for quite awhile until it worked again. Looking on the website the price says reg. Price 179.99. It also says $50 off with the code they have provided. Booked with the code. When it’s time to check out the total was $200+. That’s actually quite literally insane of a price! I asked Why is it so high like that? That’s not what the site says. She then says because of the studio session. How is it a fee to use the studio when that’s what you literally have to pay for? Where else are the pictures going to be taken? I did Not pay that price at my last shoot with you all. So then she says if we sign up for the membership it takes $40 off but you have to pay that. So paying that took the price down to $169.99. It’s laughable because you all are absolutely getting over. The company and the location. I won’t be back. I’ll just pay an actual photographer for the same price or less. We took those pictures on Monday. Digital is supposed to arrive 24-48 hrs later. It’s now Wednesday so hopefully they look worth the price.
