I came here for an online order pickup and after waiting 5 min on the "JCP.com pickup" I was told there is no one working that Lane and I need to go to regular checkout Lane. I had placed my order for a pickup within a few hours and now waiting 2 days and I still did not get a notification for pickup until I called customer service or they told me it is ready for pickup. Once at the checkout lane, cashier pulls up my order and tells me I have to go to jewelry dept. to pickup my order. Once at the jewelry department, I waited my turn to talk to someone and when I u asked them how to get online order? They tell me to fill out the sign up sheet. Well there wasn't a sign of any sort to tell me to fill out a list so more valuable time wasted. I filled out the form and waited some more, then I hear another person tell the Rep that they have been waiting a long time and asked when she will get served? The rep tells her to fill out the waiting list but like everyone else she didn't know there was even a list. Now when it was my turn they were very professional and nice but the experience as a whole was just horrible. Communication is a good thing. Things that would have helped would be a sign at the online pickup counter saying it is closed and a sign by the jewelry department to let people know to sign in.

if you do online pick up and they text yr phone that ur order is ready they do not tell you that you must go to the back entrance to do curbside also I went inside after they text me and my order was not actually ready! It was for one item and it took them almost 2 hours to complete the order. I waited for a hour in the mall and at the first text and then after the second text it was still not ready for pick up and spent close to 30 minutes just waiting for the person to come bring the order and she came without the order! So then I literally followed her downstairs just to get my item and leave. It was a horrible experience and I will never try that again they wasted so much of my time.and I would have got the item myself if I knew how unprofessional they truly are but I was actually shopping for blk Friday so I was distracted but they were so unprofessional.

They were understaffed at the registers. Only 2 ladies working 3 lines, one for regular purchases, one for returns and one for online order pickups. But the had lots of workers walking around on the sales floor.

First, I’d like to say i understand corporate policy is what employees must follow, but surely there has to be some discretion when it comes to unique situations? Long story short, myself, my wife, and 8 month year old son booked a Christmas photoshoot for 6:45 PM. It was busy when we got there and we went well over time. Despite this, everything went well and the employees in the photo studio were very nice and we left happy- or so we thought. By the time we left, the mall itself had closed, so I needed to literally run around the mall to get to the car. My wife and baby were standing in the middle of the entrance while I did so. A JCP employee came out and told them to get out and stand in the freezing cold, and got mad at my wife for not pushing my son out “fast enough”. Three weeks to Christmas and this is the kind of treatment you get at JCP. I’ll admit this review is kind of pointless and probably won’t amount to anything, but it’s super sad that there are inhumane people like this in the world that would put a literal baby out in the cold.
