The lady was very helpful; however, the next time I returned to the register I was being serviced by a long hair guy who didn't even want to honor the 20% coupon for the shirt I was trying to buy. If you going to have a sale just mark down the prices, no need to stress people out to find coupons. Specially when your cashiers dont wanna help.

I loved JCPenneys years ago, my daughters were small we went a t keadt 1x or more per month. We did not have thrift stores then, my husband worked hard( mechanic flat rate/ so if there is work u r paid; if not no pay). With 3 girls we had to use a charge card so i opened 1 over 40 years ago when they opened at white marsh( the beltway was not even complete u had to go back roads only). Ok i need to get to the point. When i purchase something and i do not bring back on the allowed tume frame they cannot help u( 90 days). They will not give u credit/ no refund/ no exchange. No r out of luck. So do jot by ahead at holidays, or if u r going on a long vaca. I do love the pink ticket clearence sale which is never announced, but if i am there i do check( all pink tickets r $3 clearence even if it is priced $74 original). So i do love there items, just qish they were more compliant with returns.( i lost $40 on bra with tags and receiot and $26 boots for my grandaughter box/ receipt and tags. Good Luck.

I came here for an online order pickup and after waiting 5 min on the "JCP.com pickup" I was told there is no one working that Lane and I need to go to regular checkout Lane. I had placed my order for a pickup within a few hours and now waiting 2 days and I still did not get a notification for pickup until I called customer service or they told me it is ready for pickup. Once at the checkout lane, cashier pulls up my order and tells me I have to go to jewelry dept. to pickup my order. Once at the jewelry department, I waited my turn to talk to someone and when I u asked them how to get online order? They tell me to fill out the sign up sheet. Well there wasn't a sign of any sort to tell me to fill out a list so more valuable time wasted. I filled out the form and waited some more, then I hear another person tell the Rep that they have been waiting a long time and asked when she will get served? The rep tells her to fill out the waiting list but like everyone else she didn't know there was even a list. Now when it was my turn they were very professional and nice but the experience as a whole was just horrible. Communication is a good thing. Things that would have helped would be a sign at the online pickup counter saying it is closed and a sign by the jewelry department to let people know to sign in.
