I’ve loved Baltimore for a long time, and I truly want to see Harbor East thrive with more quality shops that bring people into the area. Unfortunately, my experiences at this Alo location have been so poor—twice now—that I genuinely believe this store is doing more harm than good to the neighborhood.
The issue isn’t the brand, it’s the staff. There was a clear lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer respect. Working at a luxury or premium store does not make you a luxury person. That distinction comes from behavior, attitude, and how you treat others.
I could go into specific details about what happened, but I’m choosing not to, as I don’t want my experience to be interpreted as a racial issue. After reading other reviews, it appears that the unfriendliness is directed at many customers, not just one group. That gives me some reassurance that this may be a broader problem with customer service at this location rather than discrimination.
This location seriously needs better training, leadership, or both. Harbor East deserves businesses that elevate the area, not ones that leave customers feeling disrespected and disappointed.

All Aldo stores Tyson's Corner, DC Georgetown, Now Baltimore have the worst customer experience for paying huge amounts of money for their products. They need to find better adult managers in all their stores to put the kid employees on their phones in their place when working at a luxury fitness clothing store. In summary they probably have high turn over with employees in all the locations.

This ALO needs to be closed! These employees don’t like their job and it shows any other Alo is warm and friendly the manager here is also very rude and condescending
