  Big mistake doing buissness with this place bought 3 pairs of sunglasses and was talked into to buying a warrenty with the incentive in keeping the old pair and the new pair the warrenty was for a year and 2 weeks we went on the last week of the warrenty and were told the warrenty was expired even though it clearly says on their own plan that it was a year and 2 weeks they don’t even know how there warrenty works and now there saying we don’t get to keep the glasses going back on there word and warrenty plan and customer service was even worse dealing with Nur the manager was like talking to a wall very disrespectful and not helpful at all DO NOT SHOP AT SUNGLASS HUT IN CABELLAS WINNIPEG!

  I went to Cabelas with the intent to purchase sunglasses, and inquire which pair would suit my needs. I was disappointed to had been greeted with no staff as I came up to the section in the store. There was one staff in particular, short stature, east-indian looking and wearing inappropriate clothing (short shorts) that was not paying attention. I believe her name was Misha? By the time I was approached by her I was already disappointed in the way this experience was handled. I did not want to approach so suddenly since I would not know what to ask, but I was surprised she had not come up sooner. She looked like she was preoccupied on her phone. I’ve always been greeted by the Cabelas staff so I’m assuming she’s not under them. I was ignored longer than I was approached by staff, so I made the decision to take my business elsewhere. I have never been so underwhelmed by the customer experience and I suggest going to the Outlet Mall for their Sunglass Hut for better customer service.

  Buying a car was easy as compare to getting sunglasses. I bought 2 pairs in a deal and the main pair of sunglass never showed up after a week. I contacted call centre and they said they cannot fulfill and will re-ship. 2 weeks later I did not receive anything and finally called them back and they said we will give you cheque since your item is out of stock. I was like okay. But, cheque sounded vague so I went to sunglass hut location where I paid earlier and they said they will need to check and cannot refund on card. Next day, manager Charisma (also who rated this place a 5 if you scroll down) called us and said she can process the refund on card. We went to the location and we were refunded for the lesser amount. They said because the item was out of stock we would need to pay the full price for the other item, which is absolutely insane because we would have never bought that individually and especially paying the pull price. I asked manager that why is that and then we said no I don't have the authorization. Like, you cannot honour it just as a courtesy when you know that customer came like 3 times already and had a bad experience? I'd not recommend this location to anyone. If you are there to get a refund, they will get rid of you but if you are going to buy, they will pretend to be super-friendly. Thanks.
