  Ascend charges a 2nd sales tax on exchanges/returns. When you receive credit on a defective item, you are only getting credit for the value of the item and not the tax you already paid. That’s why they mysteriously charge money for even exchanges. I urge people to do the math and make sure they are receiving credit for the item purchase amount plus the tax they paid on that item. This has happened to me before, but a few days ago I pushed the issue at the New Bedford MA location and received a response that I was right. I sincerely feel the owners of this company purposely configured the system to work like this. The employees are just doing their job but I have a calculator and I know how to use it.

  This was my first time in a dispensary, but I had photos of a couple products I had tried and wanted to purchase. Dennis was extremely helpful and patient. I felt really comfortable overall there.

  I stopped in to Ascend Newton today just bcuz I saw a special online that interested me. I hadn't planned on visiting otherwise. When that deal I had seen didn't show up in the system, Emma & her supervisor made sure to make it right anyway based on what the website showed, and I sincerely appreciate that kindness from them both. With that kind of service, I'll certainly be back.
