- THTin HNov 23, 20251.0I have been a long time customer of madewell clothing for the quality and durability. Last Spring I purchased a sweater, two pairs of jeans, and two pairs of the utility pants. The buttons on my utility pants literally shattered this week on both pairs. My jeans have both ripped, and I never got the chance to wear the sweater because it had 3 holes in it that I did not notice. I am beyond frustrated that a company thinks it’s acceptable to cut comers and sell something that is like the quality of fast fashion trash for over $100. I was given a credit for one of the jeans that ripped, but honestly, I have no desire to buy another pair of jeans that I know will rip after a few months of wear.

Also helped us with hemming a pair and gave us a great tip to get a $50 price adjustment the next day if we went and donated an old pair of jeans—which we did! Thanks, Yasmin :)
