The sales rep assured me that if I purchased a suit, I’d receive complimentary tailoring, a deal that sounded great. They didn’t have my pants in the right size at the store so I had them shipped to my home. However, upon returning to have my suit tailored, I was informed that the free option was only available to customers with a “J Crew” credit card on file. To make matters worse, the fee for tailoring was a mere $25, but the manager was unwilling to waive it, despite the false promises made by their uninformed rep. The rep apologized but I received no empathy from the manager. This bait-and-switch tactic left me feeling frustrated. I expected better customer service and transparency from J Crew. It’s disappointing to see a company prioritize $25 in revenue over fulfilling their promises to customers. Needless to say, I will go to my own tailor, I’ll never be getting their credit card and I’ll be sure to go to other J Crew storefronts.

Great summer dresses and of course, lots of wear to work. My favorite this summer is the sunglasses. The Cape and The Cabana and The Wharf shades are top notch this season. Anyway, check out this sweet boutique. You won't be disappointed.
