  The store has some good merchandise, I enjoyed walking around, but the staff made my visit uncomfortable. After leaving the fitting room and continuing to shop on the floor, I could clearly hear employees talking about customers in an unprofessional way. It felt inappropriate and made me feel judged while shopping. A shopping experience should feel respectful and welcoming — this did not. I hope management addresses this.

  I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding my recent experiences at a Nordstrom Rack location. The conduct I witnessed from management was unprofessional, inappropriate, and deeply concerning, both toward employees and customers. On multiple occasions, I observed a manager named Mary speak to staff in a disrespectful and demeaning manner, including calling employees “stupid” in front of customers. This behavior is unacceptable in any workplace and creates a hostile environment for employees while also negatively impacting the customer experience. Additionally, Mary’s interactions with customers were rude and dismissive, lacking the professionalism one would expect from a management representative of Nordstrom. The overall store environment appeared disorganized, lacking structure, and poorly managed. There was no clear leadership presence, and the atmosphere reflected inadequate training and oversight at the management level. Nordstrom is a brand known for customer service and professionalism, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. Based on what I witnessed, I believe this location’s management should be formally reviewed, as the behavior demonstrated does not align with company standards or values. I intend to escalate this matter further and expect it to be taken seriously. No employee or customer should be subjected to disrespectful treatment, especially from management.

  Surprisingly sparce with poor quality choices.. overpriced for the quality you would expect from Nordstrom. Very disappointing.

  Just a couple of recommendations. I usually shop at the Nordstrom Rack on Newbury Street, Boston. Compared to that, the clothes in this store are very plain and basic. Please bring in more interesting items; we don’t need another Marshalls/TJ Maxx type of store. I have already been there twice to check out the merch, and was not able to find anything. Also, the section for shoes 5-5 1/2 has a VERY limited selection compared to all other sizes. The racks are super tight to each other, creating a suffocating feeling and making customers tired. Moreover, the look of the store emanates old, cheap clothing fair, especially with the open ceiling and “concrete” floors. It would be great if the shopping experience were enhanced a little. Other than that, I should say the store is clean, and the staff is cheerful and helpful, so far.
