  I’ve been an LL Bean fan for years, so always 5 stars on the products. This store has the most pleasant and helpful staff, makes shopping here a pleasure. Lots of parking.

  Horrible Experience at this LL Bean. My husband and I (we look young/ an interracial couple) went in to see if there was anything they can do about a sweater that my husband bought only 3 months ago. The manager we spoke with was so rude, talked down to us, we felt like we were being discriminated against, she did not put in any effort to help us at all, she did not want to listen to us at all. She barely examined the sweater and immediately accused us that we "tore" the sweater. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service from L.L Bean- if we’re buying one sweater for 100$ I’m going to expect I can wear it quite often at least longer than 3 months. Especially if its washed/dried as directed. Ps. We ended up getting our refund back. We had to call LLBean main office and talked to someone else who actually assisted us by helping us find our proof of purchase. Which I assume this person could’ve helped us find in the store but didn’t want to for whatever reason.
