A $300 winter coat’s zipper tore after just one season of normal use. Even though we had the receipt, the store declined the return because it was “out of coverage,” just two months past the warranty period. It’s disheartening that a company we’ve trusted for so long would choose not to stand behind a product of this price and quality. It feels like LL Bean is willing to lose a long-time customer over an issue that clearly reflects a product defect rather than wear and tear. Very unfortunate This was at the legacy place store in Dedham, MA
