A dying mall. We went a couple of times this past month. No decorations, and they used to have the most beautiful decorations hanging down the center of the mall which were large gift boxes with streaming ribbons. They had a few small trees on the main level, but that was it. Sad. Just sad. Once a premier mall. Stunning. Posh stores. Busy. Toy stores. Clothing shops. Speciality stores. Charles Sumner. Domain Furniture. It’s just a reduction of what it was. Basically The Cheescake Factory and Bloomies is holding it together. But Bloomies is a shadow of what it was.

During the holiday season, it’s a tradition for our family to take pictures with Santa, and this year’s experience at Chestnut Hill Mall was so wonderful that I felt compelled to leave a review. From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole experience truly special. We have three young children, and the photographer, Jessica, was amazingly patient and thoughtful. She took her time to help the kids feel comfortable, encouraged them to smile and look at the camera, and never rushed the process. Santa was also very warm and engaging, interacting with the kids in such a natural and kind way. Brandy was great during the photo selection process, clearly explaining the different options and helping us choose what worked best for our family. She was wonderful, super nice, calm, and patient throughout everything. In the end, we had a fantastic experience and are very happy with the photos. What really stood out to me was something Jessica said: that it’s really about creating memories, and that truly sums it up. On top of that, the mall itself had a great promotion encouraging app downloads. Anthony and Diane were so friendly and welcoming at the entrance, taking the time to explain the promotion and making us feel genuinely appreciated as a family. Overall, Chestnut Hill Mall has an amazing team that clearly cares about creating a positive, family-friendly experience. Thank you all for helping us make such special holiday memories!

My god!! I strolled into the jewelry section to search for a possible graduation gift and I was followed around by a non-counter employee from case to case practically breathing down my neck. I was so very unnerving, I was completely distracted and frankly insulted from continuing gift search. I will not return to this location.
