  I’m writing to share a disappointing experience I had during a recent visit to your Chestnut Hill store. I visited with my mother to exchange a necklace I had received as a gift. When we walked in, the only associate present was helping another customer. I explained to her why I was there, and she told me I was free to look around for a replacement — which I did. About 15 minutes later, the other customer left without making a purchase, and the associate finally checked in with me. In about 2 mins total I asked a few questions, told her I had made my replacement selection, and she asked if I wanted a fresh new item. I said yes — I’m not sure why anyone wouldn’t. As I waited for her to retrieve the new piece, I noticed she began helping another customer who had just entered. Then, while I was waiting at the register, she asked if she could process this other woman’s transaction first because she was in a rush. I responded that we were in a rush ourselves, so yes I did mind. Despite that, she went ahead and helped the other customer anyway. That transaction ran into issues, and the customer had to go to her car to retrieve something, so I guess she wasn’t in that much of a rush. Only then did the associate finally return to process my transaction — without so much as an apology for the delay or the disregard shown. The whole experience felt unprofessional and frankly, quite disrespectful. I left the store feeling dismissed and undervalued as a customer. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address this situation internally so other customers aren’t treated the same way.

  They need to work on their customer service. I went into their chestnut hill location- I didn’t feel welcome, and when I was eventually helped, the sales associate ended up working with another customer who came in after I did. I walked out annoyed without making a purchase. A customer who was in the store while I was in there, was treated the same way (and I watched her subsequently walk out of the store). I definitely don’t recommend this location.

  I went in with a tarnished necklace to see if there was anything that could be done—keep in mind I did not explicitly ask for a replacement. The lady who attended me was kind enough to give me a new necklace, but very rude in doing so. I thanked her for replacing it and apologized for the inconvenience and was met with complete silence as if it was annoying of me to even come in to the store and bring up this issue. I wished her a nice day, and again, silence. She didn’t speak to me again once she handed me the necklace. The bad energy in the store was palpable. Appreciative for the replacement, but disappointed by the service.
