I'm not a frequent Nordstrom shopper, but received a gift card for Christmas. Mussarat repeatedly pushed signing up for the rewards program, which I know stores push their employees to do. I explained several times that I don’t shop there enough to warrant another account sending emails to my inbox. It had been years since my last visit. After declining for the third time, she intentionally slowed down processing my purchase, avoiding eye contact, and pouted for the rest of the transaction. This type of customer service is what will prevent me from coming back.
