Historical general store in the heart of West Barnstable since 1880. Offering breakfast sandwiches (from open until sold out), lunch (11am - 3pm), evening snacks, Guinness on tap, beer and wine by the glass, groceries, duct tape and other necessities, penny candy, new and used books, clamming rakes, goods from local artists, community, and new items every day.
The restoration and revitalization of this village gem is inspiring. Beyond the food, beer, coffee, wine, groceries, produce, books shop, and general-store staples, it genuinely feels like what the name suggests: a true village store. More than just a place of commerce, it’s heartening to see it making an effort to bring people and ideas together. Well done.

Super nice people. A little pricey, but I get it. The sandwich could have used a little mustard or mayo, but was otherwise quite good.
