- STStacey TinsleyMay 26, 20231.0After receiving my email this morning about the memorial day sale, me and my sister decided to go and purchase our items(bra and panties) This was a huge mistake. Not only were we not greeted when we walked in. Not one employee asked if we needed help. (The store had 4 employees) After I found an item I wanted to try on, it took some time for an employee to unlock a dressing room. We were the only customers in the store. But I guess the employees having personal conversations about pay, vacation and such was more important. Our horrendous experience does not stop there. While I was in the dressing room, my sister started looking through the drawers to find her items. She was amazed that an employee would say that she needed help to stock the drawers because customers were going through them and messing everything up. (I would think the store would like to have merchandise sold) Then when I came out of the dressing room, I decided to treat myself to some new undies. Apparently the employee who made the comment about my sister didn't want me to look in the drawers either because when I was bending over to look through the drawer and she opened the drawer where my head was at. (She didn't say a word to me and I'm glad she didn't hit my head. Then when we were ready to be checked out, the cashier was on the phone while another employee was standing right beside us. Let me reiterate this again, we were never asked if we needed assistance with anything. If people do not want to work, quite so others can apply. This was the worst experience I or my sister have ever had at Lane Bryant. Not only have they lost two customers, they also lost on us purchasing other items. Oh and let's not forget about this being told to our friend's, coworkers and such. Word of mouth and social media is a powerful thing.
