  This is hands down the worst shopping experience I have ever had, bar none. I purchased an item on the JCPenney website and was unsatisfied with the purchase. To make the return, I went to the Shreveport JCPenney location. After an hour of nearly every employee in the store attempting to assist with making the return, multiple calls to HQ by the manager, and an hour of waiting, I was told that there was an error on their end, and to come back the next day, with a promise of a 25% coupon off my next purchase for the trouble. I came back the next day. Another hour of the same thing, and no 25% off coupon provided to me as was originally promised. The issue has yet to be resolved, and I still have the purchase. Two days for a grand total of two hours (so far) and still more waiting to go. No explanation given, other than “an error on their end.” Who knew a simple return was so difficult! If you are looking for swiftness, honesty, integrity, or even just competency, JCPenney is not the place for you, and your money is better spent elsewhere.

  I had a amazing experience at this location! A very kind woman at the register...I believe her nane is Shameka. I hate that I didnt remember to write ut down but she was so helpful! I will definitely be back and i absolutely loved the dress selection!

  This was the worst experience I have ever had with JC PENNEY in years. I have never walked in a JC PENNEY store and witness such bad customer service, with a I don't care attitude. I walked in right at opening on Wednesday. They were two ladies (one light skin and one dark skin) standing in the perfume department, they were holding a conversation laughing and talking. I walked up with a smile and said" I apologize to interrupt you all, but could you tell me where I could locate or find a Christmas T shirt. With an unfriendly look on their face without a smile, they pointed to the left and said, " they are down in lady's department". Granted, one should've walked me down, but they proceeded to continue their conversation. So, I walked and walked and walked, no T shirts. Remember there were only two people in the store, they had time to help me instead of sending me on a wild goose chase. I ran across another young lady that was working, so I asked her, she said, why would they tell you that, (with a disappointed look on her face), no sir, they are over on the other side of the store close to the man department. I said, wow to myself, why would they lie to me. Once I founded what I was looking for, I pasted one of the young ladies that was at the front (perfume department, she never asked, did you locate everything you were looking for. Each time I seen her face, she never had a friendly approachable attitude. Now I understand while this company is having a hard time keeping customers and being successful in sales. I went to another outlet that gave me customer service like it should be done. Business don't run customers away, bad employees with bad customer service does. Keep this it, chapter 7 or 11 is in the future.
