- DOD OnlyoneDec 23, 20251.0I visited this location with a friend to purchase a necklace and bracelet set. Upon entering the store, we were not greeted, which was concerning—especially since a customer who entered immediately after us was greeted right away. One employee, a white male with short gray spiked hair and rectangular glasses, appeared to look past us to acknowledge the customer behind us. We remained in the store for some time to see if anyone would offer assistance, but no one approached us, despite the store being minimally occupied. The customer who entered after us also did not make a purchase, yet continued to receive attention. Eventually, I approached the same employee to request assistance with the items I intended to buy. He raised his hand and stated he was helping another customer and that someone else would assist me, though no one ever did. This experience left me feeling that I was being judged based on the color of my skin and unfairly perceived as not being worth assisting or likely to make a purchase. I find it unacceptable to be treated differently or looked down upon for this reason. Due to this experience, I chose to leave the store without making a purchase. I found the interaction unprofessional and discriminatory, and as a result, I will not be returning to this location.
