This used to be such an amazing boutique with so much stock and the best customer service when Damon was the manager. I met Perry on my last visit and he provided probably the worst customer interaction I’ve ever received at a watch boutique. I came in eager and excited to try on a few Grand Seiko watches and potentially buy my next watch, but all Perry wanted to do was brag about was his vast collection of Rolex and other watch brands. Every time I tried to steer the discussion back to Grand Seiko, he just wanted to talk about his collection that he attained at very unrealistic prices. He claimed to have bought hundreds of vintage luxury watches for under $1000 each because he’s been a collector for so long and he has so many connections. He even claimed to have bought many brand new Rolex watches well below dealer cost which reeked of desperation for approval.
I hope WOS and Grand Seiko can find someone to represent their brand that is actually enthusiastic about their product. Despite Grand Seiko being my favorite watch brand, it’s impossible for me to imagine ever going back to this location if it means interacting with Perry.

I've been to numerous Grand Seiko boutiques around the world and this is the only one I was disappointed in. The only staff who was there was arrogant and unfriendly and seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. I inquired about a red gator watch strap for the Shun Bun I own as well as about a few watches in stock (the stores stock wasn't very extensive). He was completely unhelpful and aloof. He also loudly talked down about other watch companies, including Breitling, which shares an open wall with grand Seiko so their sales staff could hear everything he said. It was extremely tacky. To be honest, if I choose to purchase a watch this trip I will likely go back for a Breitling Navitimer, simply because, besides it being a beautiful timepiece, the salesman was 10x more friendly and helpful.
