- JRJanna RogersApr 12, 20262.0I experienced an issue with a security officer. This gentleman approached my nephew and asked him if he worked at the store we were all standing in front of. He then asked his age (17). The issue is that next, he instructed my nephew to go with him…. My nephew of course told him he wasn’t going anywhere with him. I was dealing with my twins, so I didn’t see the interaction, but my daughters did and got my attention. I turn around and ask the security guard what happened. H explains that minors can’t be alone in the mall. I pointed out the fact that he’s with me and I’m literally standing next to him. To prevent this from happening again, I suggest you train security to ask for the parent before trying to abduct someone’s kid.
