  I absolutely loved my visit to this consignment store! The staff were welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices and found some great quality clothes. It's always nice to discover hidden gems, and I definitely found a few here. I’ll be coming back for sure

  Let me first iterate that i absolutely abhor writing bad reviews for small businesses. However, I’ve dealt with discrimination at this establishment. One of the old white woman working at this store singled my mom and I (we are Asian AMERICAN) out when we were trying out the mink coats (priced at $1200 and $900). The store had about 3-5 other customers trying on stuff, but this worker decided to come up to my mom and I unsolicited to tell us in a very derogatory way “you know the coats are not on sale”. Why she decided to come up to the only two non-white customers to let us know is pretty obvious. (And to be clear, I know this isn’t discrimination based on what I was wearing - 20k+ worth of items on me when I walked in). Update on 11/27/25 in response to the owners apology (Google reviews won’t let me respond directly): While I appreciate the owner’s written apology down below for the actions of their employees, I feel obligated to say “talk is cheap”. Words of advice (take it or leave it), how about you train your employees on five concepts: 1. Implicit bias, 2. Unconscious bias, 3. Internalized racism, 4. Systematic racism, 5. Micro-aggressions. This may help your employees be more aware of their actions and how it is perceived by your customers and how often perception becomes your new reality. Since the store is only operated by old white women (at the time of my visit), it also wouldn’t hurt to actually hire diverse employees to send that message to the public; ACTION speaks louder than words.

  Went there for the first time today and enjoyed it. I love their collection of designer items at very reasonable prices. Everything is placed like it's a boutique. I've been to quite a few consignment stores in Louisville and Sassy Fox IS the best.
