- NSNatasha SchaferDec 31, 20251.0Absolutely the worst experience I had here on 12/30/25. I went in to get some late Christmas presents for everyone. Once I got to the front to pay, non of my payments were working that I brought with me. The works gossiping among themselves and about other customers who they checked out previously. I finally asked the cashier to hold my items and I will return in about an hour. When I return she told me they put everything back. I will take my business somewhere else because obviously JcPenny didn’t want it. I will not be surprised if they go out of business because the customer service is absolutely terrible. Never again!!
- MHMichael HallDec 28, 20251.0There are always issues when we shop at this JCPenney. Today most of the merchandise was not priced. White tags everywhere. We then proceeded to check out with gift cards and the cashier could not get our gift cards to swipe properly. “Transaction error” after 15, literally 15 swipes we got the first gift card to go through. We then proceeded to use a separate gift card on another transaction and could not get the card to properly swipe. The manager Krissy (spelling) then attempted to help us with no resolve. I informed the manager that the gift card had a bar code and asked her to scam the bar code, turns out the bar code scammer don’t work. I then asked her if she could manually enter the code and that also didn’t work. We were unable to pay and had no other choice, but to return the merchandise to the shelf. I can not believe no one could figure this out. New computer systems were mentioned at some point, but why would implement new systems and not properly train your managers. Please do better. We will give it another shot at a later date.
