- KEKarl Eastman1 day ago1.0Stood in line for a 1/2 hour after checking in at the Cabelas firearms counter. My name was number 1, so that tells you that they don't pay attention to their own counter system!!! There was a man beside me buying a new pistol, and going through the paperwork. Two separate people (a man and a woman) both saw me and never bothered to approach me, even after making eye contact numerous times, and walking near me in andnout of the stockroom and coming out empty handed.🙄 I got sick of being ignored and bought elsewhere. Pretty Sad Indeed since they had what I wanted right in front of me in the case. Highly "NOT" recommended.

Mike helped my husband pick out the right bow and was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick out the best gear and it really was a great price too. He went above and beyond helping us out. We had our toddler with us and everyone was so kind to him; definitely a kid friendly atmosphere among the staff. We will be back! :)

I went to try to sell a handgun and the gentleman that greeted me and brought me to the gun counter was very kind and courteous. We wet back to the used gun section and he told the gentleman that does the trades/sales that I was here and dropped off my handgun. The used gun sales person continued to organize his Used guns for another 20 mins before even going back to do the appraisal. After he looked at it, he continued to talk to people he knew and completely disregarded that I had been waiting there for about 30 mins. I finally said something and he just shot a number out to me. He took no initiative to make it easier on the customer, just left me in the dark until he said something. There are two that work back there, and the other one is great and I would give him a 5 start. He set the precedent on how to do business. This other guy (bald headed one with the white beard) is unsatisfactory.

- DBDeborah BassDec 13, 20255.0Today I went looking for a sale item and customer service found a floor person to help me, but found something I liked even better. Then I went to look for boots. The fishing salesperson (Dave M.) was speaking to my husband, but he took me to the boot area, and proceeded getting me two pairs I wanted to see. He continued to help in fishing area, but came back to me also. I ended up with both pairs of boots, and he made sure I got the rebate form, which I almost forgot about. Overall, it was an exceptional experience, and wish all stores had these type of caring employees.👍👏👍
