  I am here to rave (which I rarely do) so buckle up cause this is gonna be long. I have pretty much always been a "plus size" girlie thansk to genetics and medical issues since childhood. And I as a teen STRUGGLED to find "trendy brand" clothes to fit in; Aero's XL was a fit but a snug one especially as someone busty. I avoided AE (and still A&F/Hollister) all these years and stumbled in the other day with the predetermined thoughts of I won't find anything because of my size and or height (I have to have Short inseam sizing). And I'm thrilled to say that those thoughts were tossed out the window almost immediately. I walked in and was looking for sizes 18/20 and was shocked to find them (even in Short right there on the shelf! Old Navy doesn't carry Short past 16 in stores; ON and Rue21 were my trusty brands for years). Not even 3 minutes of entering we were semi-approached (I say semi cause I made the comment to my husband what I was looking for and an employee heard me as they walked nearby) and asked what I was looking for. I explained my avoidance of AE like the plague for years but I'd heard they carried bigger sizes now. And Kristi was seriously the best clothes store employee I've EVER interacted with. She helped me pull several styles and colors of pants and try them on (even regular cause I wear combats or platform boots sometimes as I have a goth/alt style) and a couple shorts. Sadly some were out of my size in store and we online ordered a Sunday and they arrived on a Thursday! I did a mini fashion show at home and felt amazing. I also love/appreciate the comment/compliment she gave me of having a The Funeral Portrait/Linkin Park vibes (cause green hair and band tee but also my accessories and shoes). And I appreciate her so much for letting me wear my one bought in store new pants to be worn out cause I couldn't wait to show em off with my LP tee. My inner teen is now absolutely thrilled to be dressing as I wanted to years ago but couldn't due to clothing rules as I was given but also due to my sizing. I cannot wait to bust out all the band tees I tucked away that didn't look good with plain jeans to pair with my black cargo pants and baggy wide legs and my distressed shorties. Cannot wait to go back and get more shorts and pants and hopefully have her help again! But maybe not spend an hour and a half in the store trying on this time haha

  Tried a new style of boxers from here and very happy with the results. No staff asked if I needed help when I was standing at the boxers for 20min hunting for things. But the girls at the register pure eye candy.
