  I went in to exchange a glove my son received for Christmas for a similar glove and my trip was almost made in vain. First off, I was in the baseball section and had to travel half the store to find anyone that could "help" me. I ran into two young male employees that said they could help. The higher end baseball gloves are locked up by a locking hanger, and watching the two guys try to get the glove free was entertaining to say the least. They looked like two monkeys clutching and tugging at the locked hanger trying to get the glove free, one of them almost tried to take the glove apart to get it out before a manager happened to walk by and notice their struggle. The manager mentioned there's a tool to unlock the hanger, shocking I know. Once they were finally able to free the glove they followed me to the register. When we arrived at the register, they asked for a receipt, and unfortunately I didn't have one as this was a Christmas present. Keep in mind the glove still had the original packaging on it. I said I don't have a receipt, and I'm merely trying to exchange the glove for something that better suited for my son's position. They said there was nothing they could do, I either needed the receipt or the card it was purchased with, and of course I had neither. I was in town visiting my in-laws, two hours from home, but it happened to be the same Dunham's the glove was purchased from, so I was desperate to make this happen. I asked nicely if they could understand my situation, but they said that's just the rules and they could do nothing to fix the predicament. Luckily there was a very nice older gal who worked at this Dunham's who happened to be listening to my predicament, and she jumped in to correct the situation. Once she began helping, my luck turned 180 degrees, she was able to return the glove, put the money on a gift card, and do a second transaction to purchase the other glove. I was so grateful, I forgot all about the other two unhelpful employees. I think they were paying attention to how she handled the situation, and I hope for the next person, they will be able to be more helpful. Thank you to the previous generation of people that still have common sense and compassion towards other people.

  Insanely overpriced on about 95% of their items. You can find some good deals on ammo from time to time. Their shoes and boots are ridiculously priced as compared to other places such as academy. Save yourself some time and just go to Bass Pro or Academy and even Sierra. Don't know how this store stays open.
