  Shout out to Abby for being the best associate to help me with my purchase! My husband purchased my wedding ring and band from Shane Co in Overland Park, so when it came time to add to my wedding set, we went back to Shane Co. I had no idea what I wanted, but Abby took the time to find so many different options and cater to what I liked as well as push what I thought I wanted to what we actually purchased. It wasn’t anything I thought I would ever want, but with Abby’s wonderful care and expertise, she helped us pick the most beautiful addition to my wedding set. Thank you, so much, Abby!

  I would give this 0 stars if possible. My husband and I went in to look at necklaces for our upcoming anniversary and Jeanny helped us. She was very pushy with the purchase. She did not seem interested in conversation just how we were going to pay so she could check us out. I was extremely put off by this as this has never happened any of the many other times we have shopped here (my engagement ring and both my husband and I's wedding bands are from here). I told her I wanted to wait and make sure that was what I really wanted and she pushed a few times to finish the transaction and made me feel very uncomfortable. We then returned 2 weeks later to purchase the necklace after I decided and we were helped by her again. She was not much friendlier and messed up the shipping information on the necklace. When asked to fix this issue she went to the back and told us she was working on it and we would get a call to confirm it was fixed later that day. She did not apologize a single time for this mistake. When you are spending $1,000+ on something at a store or any amount of money, you want to feel heard and valued and she dropped the ball on that BOTH times we were with her in store. Someone did call us and assure us the address mix up was fixed, just to get shipping email today showing the issue was not fixed after all. Very unsatisfied with this entire experience and we will refuse to be helped by her in the future when visiting if we decide to purchase anything else from this store.

  Absolutely love Shane Co! Got my engagement ring and wedding bands here, and their included warranty makes us (my wife and I) feel cared. We get free cleanings every six months, and it even covered a popped out diamond that we had to get fixed in the first few weeks. We didn’t opt for the theft and loss insurance, but it’s great to know that they offer that layer of protection too. Definitely planning on getting anniversary gifts from here later on. Great customer service, and you are helped almost immediately when walking in.

  I do not normally leave reviews, but felt that I had to say something after the experience my boyfriend and I had at this location. My boyfriend and I have been looking around and seeing different options for engagement ring/wedding rings and wanted to check out Shane Co (one of my friend's husbands got their rings from here and it's gorgeous!) We go in to the store and are greeted by 2-3 sweet employees, but end up being served primarily by Jeanny. During the beginning of the consultation, she seemed warm and interested in our story and what we were looking for. After a while, she began showing us rings and she began explaining the process of rings, choices we had, etc. While we were talking about carat sizing, I liked the look of a larger diamond but, for numerous reasons, preferred the smaller one. My boyfriend asked if there were other diamonds in different cuts around the 1.5 carat size or smaller and she said "You still want to see a 1.5 carat even though it's obvious she wanted the 2?" From there, she went on to try to sway me to buy a natural diamond since they are rarer and valuable despite my saying I prefer a lab. Genuinely, I was in shock at her tone and overt rudeness to me and my boyfriend. I tried to keep a cool, collected attitude but left immediately after she made that comment to my boyfriend. I'm so disappointed in this interaction and will not ever consider Shane Co. for my engagement or wedding bands in the future. No matter if you want a small diamond, lab grown, etc. you should not be treated differently. Hopefully, this was just an off day for her - we are all human and have lots of things going on in our lives! But like I said, please be aware of this if you choose to go to this location.
