  Sale item rang up full price rather than 70% off and cashier refused to check for the sale price. Their was no line or rush and there were other workers and cashiers behind the counter who could have assisted and helped the cashier if they simply didn't know what to do. Ended up buying a similar item from Amazon when I wanted to shop locally. Never had an experience like that. I'll be back but not in that cashiers line.

  The photographer Caitlin was so incredible!! She was incredibly kind, efficient, clear with direction. Really 11/10 I could not imagine anyone better for the job. She made the whole process enjoyable!! We used the photo studio for a group of 11 people including one baby. The total price came out to just over 12$ per person (after taxes and seasonal discounts). We found it best to arrive 15 minutes before our appointment so we can get checked in. Caitlin really did a fantastic job navigating our large group with ease. Corporate, please reach out to her and show some love.

  Wow, just wow. If my experience is any indication of how all JC Penney associates treat guests it is no wonder they are closing 100 stores. I will never return to another JC Penney in my life and I suggest everyone do the same. We waited 20 minutes just to be acknowledged and all we needed to do was a simple exchange, which turned into the most ridiculous customer service experience in my life. Once we finally did get help, the lady was rude and made us jump through hoops just to exchange a pair of earrings that had been a Christmas present. My daughter literally opened the box and a stone fell out, the “manager” told us to go to another store that she would not exchange the earring at this location. Might I add that we had the original paper sales slip. The lady offered absolutely no solutions or help. Finally after 10 minutes she capitulated and said she could return the earrings but only for store credit. So we took the credit and bought the earrings, what an idiotic way to do an exchange. We will never return, you all should just cut your loses and close this location because I’m telling everyone I know to never ever go there. Amazingly bad. Unbelievably bad. Unspeakably bad.

  We were very disappointed! Today, a “Build a Lego” event for kids was scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon. We arrived at the store at 10:55 a.m., along with several other families waiting for it to begin. However, at around 11:20 a.m., a store associate informed us that the Legos had been set out at 10 a.m., everything was already gone, and there was nothing left for the kids to participate in.

  This is for JC Penney’s chat online. I wanted to use a rewards coupon and could not get it to work online. I reached out to the chat line and Roland informed me that the rewards pass could only be used 12/13 - 12/14. It showed an expiration date, but no beginning date and I was informed this was an error on their part and they would not honor the rewards pass in my account. This is pure bait and switch and horrible customer service. If you make a mistake, a good business would either correct the mistake or at a minimum, not punish the customer for their mistake.
