- TNtroy n1 day ago5.0My wife Kristal and I recently visited the Bass Pro Shop in Olathe, Kansas, and had an outstanding experience thanks to two exceptional employees. In the firearms department, we worked with Colton Beaumont. Even though the store was closing in less than 30 minutes, Colton never rushed us. He was professional, patient, and genuinely kind. He took the time to thoroughly explain our options and answer every question we had while helping us purchase two handguns for our family. His knowledge and customer service were top-notch. It helped we knew what we where looking to purchase as well just needed some guidance with different options on handguns. Before leaving, we had just enough time to stop by the camping department, where we met Ernie. Ernie was equally impressive, professional, attentive, and extremely helpful when my wife asked for assistance locating an item. Thanks to him, we found exactly what she was looking for and ended up purchasing two additional camping items. We’ll definitely be back soon, hopefully working with Ernie again, to stock up on more camping gear. If this is the standard Bass Pro Shops holds its employees to, we’ll gladly continue bringing our business back for all our fishing, camping, and firearm needs. If we could give more than five stars, we would, so instead, we’re giving 15 stars: five for the store, five for Colton, and five for Ernie. And just for reference we drive from Baxter Springs, Ks to purchase here and will gladly do it again instead of any business closer to us for any items Bass Pro may carry. Outstanding experience all around.

She went above and beyond to make sure we located the stuffie and got it in the hands of my daughter. We will definitely be back for more stuffed animals and ask for Michelle!

- JTJ TDec 22, 20251.0I was interested in purchasing a firearm today. I’m not sure of the employee’s name, but the lack of enthusiasm and respect shown toward me was disappointing. I felt that this individual was highly disrespectful and did not care about their job. If you hired people who were enthusiastic about firearms instead of those just looking for a paycheck, this situation could have been avoided. As it stands, you’ve lost a customer today. Thank you.
- PEPaul EnkelmannDec 11, 20251.0I used to love Bass Pro, until I bought a Blue Green Vacation package from them for a gift. 7 nights for $699 at all these nice hotels in some really nice cities and places. Just sit through the presentation on our 1st trip to Branson, and you're good to go. We did that but did not buy the timeshare. We went to book our remaining trips and were told that only a few cities were part of the package. Places we did not want to go to. When I purchased it, the salesperson said we could use them at all of the locations they have properties at. Totally misleading. 2 nights in Branson at a below average hotel in Branson cost me $699.. Not good.
