- SRShawn Radcliffe2 days ago1.0I had a very disappointing experience at the Olathe, KS location of Academy Sports + Outdoors. The customer service was extremely poor from start to finish. Employees were unhelpful, dismissive, and came across as genuinely uninterested in assisting customers. What stood out the most was the behavior of the manager, Dustin. Instead of setting a positive example, he was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. When I came in simply trying to find an item, I was met with attitude rather than assistance. I’m not looking for any compensation or resolution—I just think it’s important for corporate to be aware of how this store is representing the company. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location to others.

Also, they will NOT price match their OWN online price, so it's really annoying/unfortunate. I will order online & pick up for the better price. If you have a return, you have to wait 1-2 days before it shows up in the system 🙄 Curbside pickup & customer service desk has long waits. There may be no one in line, but your waiting for an associate to show up. Most of my complaints is with system logistics & not the actual products.
