I came here to buy clothes for my son for his birthday. As he was trying his jeans, not even 5 ft away from the trial rooms, and showing us, the manager and another worker started whispering and talking quite rudely. A bit later, they came out of nowhere and said you can’t be here you have to be in the trial rooms. It was so disrespectful— they had no regards that we were THEIR customers. There was no sign so we had no idea that we were supposed to only stay in the trial rooms and they yet came over and rudely told us. I understand that they were trying to inform us but it was in such a rude manner and I definitely think they were talking behind us. I felt completely unsatisfied by the customer service. Will not shop here again.

Extremely Disappointed and Deeply Offended I am writing this review to share an incredibly disappointing and upsetting experience at the Tommy Hilfiger store at Legends Outlet on Monday, September 29. My family and I visited the store that day and spent over $1,300 on clothing and accessories. We left with more than ten shopping bags and were genuinely happy with our purchase and the service at the time. However, the following day, when we returned to exchange just two items, the experience took a shocking and disturbing turn. As we walked in, the store manager looked at another associate and, right in front of us, asked loudly, “Are these the guys that stole our shopping bag yesterday?” The associate immediately replied, “No.” We were stunned. The accusation was so direct and public that we couldn’t believe what we were hearing. Not only was this rude and unprofessional, but it was also deeply offensive and discriminatory. I told the manager how unacceptable it was to make such a comment especially to customers who had just spent over a thousand dollars in her store the previous day. Not every Black customer walking into your store is a thief. Making such an assumption and voicing it out loud without any evidence or discretion is a form of racial profiling and implicit bias that should have no place in customer service or anywhere else. The store has cameras and other ways to identify suspects accurately. Instead of doing her job and reviewing footage, the manager chose to make a public and baseless comment that was humiliating, disrespectful, and demeaning to us as paying customers. I hope corporate leadership at Tommy Hilfiger takes this matter seriously, because experiences like this make customers especially people of color feel unwelcome, disrespected, and unsafe. I expected far more professionalism from a global brand of this caliber. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I will probably not be returning to this location again.
