  Liked what I bought. Great value. Got the sale price after the sale was over. They forgot to pull the sign. $35.00 additional off by opening an account. Win win. Only complaint , it's just like Lowe's and other stores. NO ONE AROUND TO HELP !!!! Love to vent, have a great day.

  This is more of a national brand issue than an issue with the Mishawaka store, specifically. I ordered a sofa sectional in November 2025. Was told it would arrive by December 19th, which was perfect before Christmas. That order somehow got lost with their logistics company, so I ended up canceling that order and making another one. That order got lost with their logistics company as well. For three months, I've been on the phone with their customer service team at least twice a week trying to track down this sofa I ordered for the second time. I'm exhausted. The reason I'm giving 1 star instead of zero is that their customer service team was actually very earnest in trying to help. But I would absolutely caution anyone from ordering furniture or anything that might be time-sensitive.

  Went into the jewelry section and asked for help. A black lady didn’t get her name helped me and my mom but honestly so rude she started calling us cheap once we decided we didn’t want to get anything and once we were walking away she said to go to a Mexican place to get gold for the cheap because that’s all we do, mind you we aren’t Mexican !!!!!! Just rude rude rude discrimination at its finest. Don’t even deserve one star

  Attention: To ALL JC Penney shoppers I have been shopping and buying jewelry from this department store for years and I have had a JC Penney credit card for many years and have always kept it paid off, a couple of weeks again I decided to stop in the store and take a look at some of their earrings and there was a nice young lady that was at the jewelry counter she was alone and me and my girlfriend we're waiting to look at some items that we were interested in finally she came over to help us and couldn't get the jewelry counter open, she ran and got another set of keys and it still wouldn't open finally she went and got I guess it was the manager and another girl they went through several keys trying get it open we was standing there way past 30 minutes and another girl was waiting with us this poor young lady said to use I'm very sorry I'm stressed out today I only make $12 dollars an hour and I'm putting it in my two weeks notice she said I'm very sorry you guys have to wait so long but finally they got the counter opened. I purchased some earrings and a bracelet from their clearance section and the young lady said would you like to use your JCPenneys card you can get a lot of points because my friend and I were still picking out more pieces of jewelry to purchase and I said to the lady can I pay it back off now because I want to keep my card down and she said yes so my purchase for the first set of jewelry came up to $162 dollars and some change when she rung up my purchase on my charge card I said now let me pay it off and I gave her the cash she then gave me back the change and the receipt.My friend and I then purchased more jewelry like three more transactions until the card rejected the lady as fraud so she gave me the card information so I called them and told them that this was me and know fraud was taking place they asked there usual questions and my social security number and everything went through through, the next day they sent me an email of the transaction and I called them right away and said the very first transaction was paid off in case I have the receipt but the young lady gave me the receipt saying that I changed it and took my cash too and I found out that she was supposed to give me a separate receipt and didn't so I called the store manager and they finally got back in touch with me and said they could do anything about it I said can't you look at your store camera you will see me handing the young lady cash but to end this they did nothing about it so I have to pay this off on my card so it doesn't ruin my credit and it was already paid off right in the store My friend was there as a witness and she was devastated that this happened to me so know I am cancelling out my JC Penney card that I have had for years so if they did this to me they can do it to you guys please be very very careful there I paid &162 dollars twice and I will never allow this to happen again I'm not sure if the young lady pocket the money or what happened I asked them to count her register but they did absolutely nothing the manager didn't even call me back she had someone else to call me back saying they couldn't do anything about it shoppers PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!
