- JPJ PatrickFeb 21, 20261.0This review is for DSW Corporate and not this specific location. The last two pair of shoes I purchased online came and were already worn with visible signs of wear. I returned one to the store and had no problems - thought it was a one-off. The second pair I reached out to customer service to share the state of the shoes, express my disappointment at reviewing expensive used shoes, and to request a replacement of unworn shoes be sent. Customer service apologized and shared they would send a new pair. I waited week and nothing so I reached out again. This time I was told there were none in stock and now there was I would get the shoes in 3-5 days and they offered a discount for the inconvenience. I waited more than the allotted days and still no shoes and no communication so I reached out again. I’m told they don’t have any in stock and they could give me a refund if I go through the effort to return the shoes. Needless to say I was not happy at this point - I’d been sent used shoes, lied to, not communicated with, I wasn’t going to have the shoes I wanted, and I had to do more work. I asked for the contact information of a supervisor and was given the #800 number because they don’t have supervisors that talk to people. Well DSW you just lost a loyal shoe lover. I will find someone with better customer service to do my business from now on.
