NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. TWO WOMEN AT TE REGISTER. Somehow I must’ve been INVISIBLE when I was perusing the jewelry case. NO ONE asked if I needed help or anything…. But as SOON as “other” customers entered, they BOTH gave a very audible, WARM greeting to THEM. I guess in 2025, my skin tone is still TOO DARK. I still tried to shop, although the sinking feeling wouldn’t go away. I have a very bad taste in my mouth and after speaking to the Elder regarding what happened, her smugness and obvious smirk felt like a complete insult. I really LOVED this Consignment store for THIRTY YEARS! Recently introduced my 30yr old daughter to this place, but I’ll be seeking a business that will be happy to have someone who LOOKS LIKE ME as a repeat customer. This really hurts, but hey….it’s only a “store”, right? DO BETTER.
