    Would have been a better rating had I not been taken advantage of at this store. Bought a few comforters online February 7th and 8th and changed my mind about one of them after I seen the color of one of them. My card was charged for it on February 7th and 8th. Returned it on February 28 around 6:45 pm, not realizing the store closes at 7:00 pm. Got my return receipt and thought nothing of looking at it as who would think someone would take the refund and put on a card that did not belong to me. After a month I noticed the refund had not been added to my account so I called the credit card company and they told me that I had to get verification from the store that it was returned because it was not showing up on my account. NO KIDDING!!!! I called the store and left a message with someone to give to a manager to call me, because you cant reach one when you call. Manager calls me and asks for all the info I have on the receipt as she was going to look up the transaction after I explain the situation to her. She then calls me back and says that "the refund was credited back to the card that bought it", Im sure it WAS NOT!!!! Here I sit with no comforter and no way of getting this situation rectified. What a joke this company is. Going to continue to fight to get it straightened out and put on the correct account, as it should have been in the first place.

    I am giving this review for the hair salon. I stopped by as a walk-in two weeks ago. I asked for my ends to be trimmed a bit so I could style it easier. My "stylist" turned my chair so I couldn't see what she was doing, and she absolutely butchered the heck out of my hair! I was in total shock and could hardly speak. The manager of the salon came out to speak to me and assured me that she agreed with everything I told her. She restyled my hair, but the damage was too extent. She told me she was going to send me a list of places where I could buy a wig or get extensions. She also said she'd call me in a few weeks to see how I was doing and would offer me a free cut in the future with a master stylist. I still have not heard back from her, and it's been over 2 weeks! I am very disappointed because she seemed so caring and concerned about me. I did find a place for extensions, and I really wish JC Penney would reimburse me for the cost. I had to walk around with my hood pulled up! Very unsatisfied!😥

    Very clean and organized but the staff was quite busy when it came to check out so I will say there was a bit of a wait time, but that's understandable, it's a popular store in a mall. I will say the kitchen items section was a little slim pickings but what they did have was quite nice. Like the blush pink Bella slow cooker and the navy blue plates. About the navy blue plates. When I brought them home they were cracked. And for that I am giving JCPenney's a four star review instead of five. It could have been the drive home, it could have been an employee or it could have been the truck that brought it to the store in the first place, honestly a number of things could have broken those plates. No one in particular is at fault it's just a tragedy as those plates were around seventy-ish dollars and I was really looking forward to using them. So imagine my surprise when I open them up and they are all cracked, chipped and broken. Anyway other than that I love JCPenney's, I have been going to that store since I was a child. Although the one I would typically have gone to would be at the Polaris Mall in Ohio, the Castleton Square Mall one here in Indiana is good too.

    Stay away from this JCPenney‘s their management sucks. I went in and got these socks off the rack two pairs and they were on sale. They did not ring up on sale and this is how one pair looked after washing one time.. not only that but I had an old account and I bought over $60 worth of merchandise that was shipped to an old address in California. I’m in Indianapolis and they told me I could go drive there and get it refuse to refund my money or give me any store credit Picture as below
