My husband and I shopped the Sunday before Christmas which was very busy and we understood that. I had an anniversary ring that I wanted to trade in and also had a loose diamond that I wanted to use in a new piece of jewelry. We found a beautiful floating diamond pendant but I wanted white gold. Our associate said that she could transfer in the white gold pendant from another store. She checked with their jeweler to make sure that they could order a different basket for the marquise diamond. We were told that was possible and that there was a charge for this which we understood. I also wanted a different chain than what was on the current one. We found a white gold chain that day that could be switched out. Our associate said that she couldn't do the trade in that day because she didn't physically have the white gold pendant. She said we would have to come back after the basket came in as well as the white gold floating pendant and do the exchange at that time. I called Christmas Eve day and was told that they received the white gold floating pendant and basket. The day after Christmas my husband and I drove back up and again it was a 10-15 minute wait just to work with an associate and to feel free to look around the showroom. It was at least another hour in the store as we were told that the original white gold chain that we had picked out during our first visit was sold and that they would have to do a store transfer for the chain that I wanted. I would have expected that the chain that I originally picked out during our first visit should have been set aside knowing that I was waiting for the white gold floating pendant and basket to come in. So what did this mean for us? Yes another trip up to Shane. Fortunately we were able to do the trade up during this time but again it was a very lengthy process. We paid for the basket, floating pendant as well as the original chain that was on the pendant and were told once the chain that I wanted came in we could just switch them out and pay the difference. We were told it would be a few days for the jeweler to get the floating pendant done which we understood, but then received a text that they needed a couple of extra days. Yesterday we showed up to pick up the pendant and switch out the white gold chain. I expected this to be a quick process only to be told it would be another 5-10 minute wait and to feel free to look around the showroom. We did finally get my new pendant and it is beautiful, but the amount of time it took waiting around at Shane was a little ridiculous.

Staff was so nice. Everyone asked if we needed help instead of playing on their phones. I had got a ring for my wife that had gotten damaged, they ended up replacing the whole thing engraving and all just in time for Christmas too! Thanks I will definitely be shopping here now for my wife and family.

I spent good money on my wife's engagement ring and it has had so many issue. The diamond keeps coming off or getting loose in the setting and I've only had it 5 years. For example this summer the diamond came off the setting. We took it in for repair and now the diamond is loose in the setting again. Just went to see them and their solution was to sell me a smaller diamond for the setting!?!? Why did you sell me that diamond with that setting in the first place. I rarely leave reviews but I've never been so frustrated at a business before. I would excersise caution when shopping here.
