  Danielle in lingerie was my savior and ensured I had a perfect fit for my dress for my son's wedding. She correctly fitted me for bras and for foundations and then called in alterations to make adjustments so that everything stayed securely in place -- even while dancing-- in my off the shoulder dress .. cannot praise her enough. Very knowledgeable and very responsive. Made me a very relaxed MOG Diana

  Just to be clear, this is a review for the Nordstrom's located at 8702 Keystone Crossing in Indianapolis. We had flown into Indianapolis the night before after a circuitous routing, Paris-Madrid-New York-Indianapolis. Once at our hotel, I noticed I had lost an earring. The errant earring had gone on its own voyage and I was somewhat heartbroken as the pearls had been given to me by my mother. I went to Google maps and searched for jewelry stores in the area. It was suggested, however, that I go to Nordstrom's. We arrived the following morning and I went around and around the glass display cases seeking small pearl earrings. Suddenly, this lovely woman arrived offering her assistance. "Are you in the jewelry department?" I asked. "Yes I am!" I explained my dilemma. She listened patiently and then began her search with sweet, quiet, professional resolve. Within a few minutes, she had pinpointed a possibility: these perfect, mini pearl 18k gold huggies (mini hoops with a sort of ancient Pompeian delicacy). I said yes. The whole experience was Nordstrom magical. The gentle yet professional human touch. I will always remember this woman because her smile and her name are unforgettable.

  I recently visited the shoe department to get help with a previous order and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When I approached the counter, the associate, Chelsie, seemed bothered by my request and was noticeably rude. After that interaction, I spent about 10 minutes browsing the shoe department looking for a specific pair of shoes for an upcoming event. During that time, Chelsie passed me multiple times, while not assisting any other customers but never acknowledged me or offered to help, despite it being a very slow time in the store. I also noticed she selectively offered assistance to other customers. I’m giving two stars because my experience in the shoe department does not reflect the service I’ve received in other areas of the store. The associates in the children’s department and accessories (purse) department have always been incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency across departments.

  Went in for a tux consultation (albeit, impromptu) in the evening and had to ask a nearby employee texting on her phone if it was her section/if she could assist. Was met curtly by the fact that she was “too busy” to provide any help and recommended to schedule an appointment. Immediately went upstairs to State and Liberty where the staff was attentive and helpful. Find better help.

  The staff in the lingerie area was kind, but my appointment for a bra measuring and fitting was somehow scheduled with someone who wasn’t there today and the appointment was not in their system, despite the confirmation email I received. Another appointment I had canceled , again with a confirmation email, was still on the docket. They did offer to see me approximately 30 minutes later, but that did not work with my schedule. And while it is no fault of the staff members in that department today, and they tried to work me in, I’m pretty disappointed.
