  Very clean and organized but the staff was quite busy when it came to check out so I will say there was a bit of a wait time, but that's understandable, it's a popular store in a mall. I will say the kitchen items section was a little slim pickings but what they did have was quite nice. Like the blush pink Bella slow cooker and the navy blue plates. About the navy blue plates. When I brought them home they were cracked. And for that I am giving JCPenney's a four star review instead of five. It could have been the drive home, it could have been an employee or it could have been the truck that brought it to the store in the first place, honestly a number of things could have broken those plates. No one in particular is at fault it's just a tragedy as those plates were around seventy-ish dollars and I was really looking forward to using them. So imagine my surprise when I open them up and they are all cracked, chipped and broken. Anyway other than that I love JCPenney's, I have been going to that store since I was a child. Although the one I would typically have gone to would be at the Polaris Mall in Ohio, the Castleton Square Mall one here in Indiana is good too.

  Stay away from this JCPenney‘s their management sucks. I went in and got these socks off the rack two pairs and they were on sale. They did not ring up on sale and this is how one pair looked after washing one time.. not only that but I had an old account and I bought over $60 worth of merchandise that was shipped to an old address in California. I’m in Indianapolis and they told me I could go drive there and get it refuse to refund my money or give me any store credit Picture as below

  Bathrooms clearly say we don't care. Just close them and make people use the malls bathroom. Store is organized like they are a month or two away from closing.

  My brother and I did a ridiculous photo shoot for Christmas. It was awesome. Chris photographed us. We had both her and the other girl in stitches with our antics. She directed us perfectly and deserves a huge raise for our shenanigans. Mom loved the photos and couldn't wait to start sharing them with everyone.

  Yes, there is plenty of room to walk within the store because there is very little merchandise stocked in the store!! The store is a shell of what it used to be. Very sad. I've seen other JCP stores in other large cities still have a lot of merchandise but not this one and it the only JCP in Indianapolis!
