    Decent store but didn't have 2 of the main items I went in for and even though they still advertise their restaurant as being open and having the best elk sandwich they dont have a restaurant which they said closed during covid...dont even have a place for it...wont be in no hurry to go back...plus soon no longer cabelas

    I went in there to look for a specific gun and a guy named JAMES at the gun counter gave me a bad attitude.we people talk to me like it's my fault that they hate there job makes me just want to run out of there .I'm going to have to look for the gun somewhere else

    Was just a look see (looking for , yard ornaments).But was astound by the vast variety of merchandise they have to offer. Will definitely be making a return visit to explore store in its Entirety. Surely to find something to my Liking.

    Should be more professional and have a better way of handling Easter Bunny photos. Drove from out of state 1hr away and was running a little late due to traffic and having a newborn to attend to. I called to let them know and the employee who answered the phone was very friendly and nice he even took his time to go to the back and let them know. They said it was fine but once I got there the guy who was doing check ins asked if I had an appointment I told him yes and gave him my name. He then said he couldn't take us anymore and that we had to wait in regular line. I let him know that I had called and let them know I was running late and he said it didn't matter he couldn't take us anymore and that we still had to wait. He could've just told us that we weren't gonna be able to take pictures at all. Instead we waited in line just to be told that they were done with pictures for the day because it was up to the Easter bunny whether or not he wanted to take pictures with us still. Yet, 2 others came in after us and they accepted them right away without refusing them and I explained the situation to him and his response was that we could take pictures with our phones on the bench if we wanted but the Easter bunny pictures were done for the day. It was unfortunate having to drive from so far just to get turned around and wasting my time.

    I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Cabela’s today regarding their Easter Bunny photo service. I have been coming to this location for years for every holiday picture and have always made the nearly 50-minute drive from out of state because it’s something that means a lot to me and my family. This has been a tradition I’ve consistently supported, which made this experience even more upsetting. I had a scheduled appointment at 12:45 PM and arrived just one minute late. I politely explained my situation and how far I had traveled. At all times, I remained calm and respectful, as this moment was important to me. I was honestly almost begging for a little understanding or flexibility. Despite that, the employee handling check-ins, Doug, refused to help in any way and did not offer any alternatives. What made the situation worse was his tone—after turning me away, he told me to “have a good day” in a way that felt dismissive and almost mocking. I responded that I wouldn’t, because this situation had already negatively impacted my day. After this interaction, I asked to speak with a manager and shared my situation with Rebeca. Unfortunately, this did not improve the experience. She was also not helpful and did not offer any resolution. With all due respect, leadership should be more present and proactive in situations like this—otherwise, it raises concerns about the level of support being provided to customers. I understand that businesses have policies, but this was a clear lack of empathy and basic customer care. Being turned away over being one minute late, after years of loyalty and a long drive, was incredibly disappointing. This experience left me feeling unheard, disrespected, and genuinely upset. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving how customers are treated in situations like this—especially loyal ones who continue to show up year after year.
