You will not find the same quality of books. You will not find the same quality of books online that you will find on the shelf in the store. I have purchased more than a few dilapidated books ONLINE that should have gone into the garbage rather than being sold to a person. In each case I was refunded my money. I have also had three episodes where the BOOK NEVER ARRIVED.

Wanted $130 for a damaged copy of a DVD box set normally going for around $70 online, but the lady found it for more online, so high price it stayed. Showed her the actual HPB ebay was selling it for around $103 in very good condition, but the lowest she would go for a banged up copy with a broken case was $100. Nothing but scalpers with a storefront now. Go back to half cover price! If we could afford collectors prices, we wouldn't be shopping here! Edit: Just checked the official Half Price Books website and the exact same set in better condition is $80. I don't know where the Fort Wayne HPB gets off thinking they can gouge for inferior product.

While I didn't find what I was looking for, the nice thing about used book stores is their stock always changes and you never know what book in your mental "wish list" might show up!

Sports books were in somewhat short supply. Study bibles in short supply. Good game section. No doubt will visit again next time in Ft Wayne.
