Dealers subtract a margin to cover risk, handling, and profit. Typical buyback ranges: • 10 oz bars: around 92%–96% of spot is considered fair from a professional bullion dealer.  So that’d be roughly $787–$823 on a typical 10 oz bar at today’s spot. 👎 When an Offer Is Not Fair • If a buyer says they don’t use spot at all and refuses to explain their math • If their offer is well below ~92% of spot with no clear reason …that’s a red flag that you’re being offered a lowball deal rather than a market-based price. RIPOFF. Go somewhere else.
