I asked around and the vast majority of people told me to go to James and Sons. I've been there before to buy graduation gifts for my daughters, but I didn't know that they did jewelry repair. I went in and showed them my situation....a skinny little feller with facial hair whose name escapes me right now...shame on me....he was awesome. He said that he thought that an adjustment could be made to fix the clasp as is and sure enough, he came back with my neck chain in full working order. I couldn't possibly expect to get the service for free, but he told me that there would be no charge. Yes it only took 4 minutes, but here is a company who understands the value of repeat business and how to get people to come back again and again. Thank you James and Sons.
