  We specifically paid the higher price to support local when getting a board game for our 5 year old son's birthday. We did appreciate that Geppetto's does gift wrapping for pickup, but... It turns out they wrapped the wrong game! We didn't know until our son opened it tonight. Now his birthday has ended in tears because he couldn't play the gift he had been hoping for - and I need to waste time returning it. I understand accidents happen but this is really frustrating! Edit: Drove back the next day to return it and their hours on Google are incorrect, so I wasted even more time. Edit 2: I was able to get in contact with them once they opened - and they are going to deliver the correct game, which I really appreciate.

  Using my husband page to leave another 5 star review of this store and staff. April is amazing and we met Elli this last visit and she was just as nice. We highly recommend this store.

  Our first time at the store. Was given wrong information about needoh stock but then I spoke to Eric the manager and he was very kind and explained what could have happended. We ended up finding pokemon cards so it was definitely worth the trip. In the meantime. We met April behind the counter who was so helpful. Showed us alternatives to some of my daughters fidget toys and its nice to see what you are buying beforehand. I explained to April how much my daughter loves pokemon and needohs. She was so awesome and threw in stickers and a pokemon poster with our purchase. My daughter is on cloud 9 right now. Thank you April for making her day. The store has tons to choose from. We highly recommend Part 2: We were able to get Needohs!! We returned later in the day for them. Thanks to April. You have no idea what happiness you brought my daughters. We cant thank you enough.

  Quality toy options for every age. We always check out the magna tiles, calico critters, and jellycat selection. Big board game section and many fun little gifts to look through. I go out of my way to pick up birthday gifts at this toy shop. They even wrap presents for free! Definitely make a stop here. :)

  I really enjoy shopping at Geppetto‘s and have generally had positive experiences with the staff, who are all very friendly and helpful. However, I wanted to share a concern from my recent visits. On the two occasions when one particular employee was working (I’m not sure of her name), she asked me and the person I was with to leave our bags at the front. This stood out to me because other employees have never asked me to do this with my backpack. During my second visit, I also noticed that other girls around my age entered the store with backpacks and were not asked to leave them at the front. To be fair, I am young, however the girls who walked in are in the grade below me and about the same age. And as a person of color, this made me feel like I may have been treated differently, and I felt it was important to share that experience. I want to emphasize that I really like this store and the rest of the staff have always been lovely. I’m simply sharing my experience in hopes that there is some explanation because I really like the store, however, that interaction has made me feel uncomfortable.
