  There is something to say about great customer service and really making an experience memorable. Thank you Nila and Marlin for a memorable experience that, unfortunately, we do not see much of any more in the retail space. At time of purchase, we came to find out there is a new policy to renew the trainer program on an annual basis. At the store level there was no way to renew instantly and we were about to leave, but Marlin and Nila took extra time to ask us to stay while they called customer service to see what they could do. Long story short- that’s the service that goes a long way to build brand loyalty and keep a customer coming back to your store. Shout out Nila and Marlin and the Oak Brook Alo store!

  They canceled my online order, but when I came to the store, they actually had the item in stock. They didn’t want to honor the online price, Even after canceling an online order for pick up, that was in stock. The staff were not accommodating and a manager wasn’t much better. She seems to be more well-versed on what they aren’t allowed to do or what they cannot do, instead of providing solutions to make a happy, satisfied customer. I don’t think I like this location, and I will not be returning. Charging $300 for a jogging suit, all while being snobs about it, blew me!!!!

  I don’t see how people are complaining about the customer service. I went with my mom and when she was looking at a sweater, an employee asked if we needed help. That same employee brought out atleast 4 different items/different sizes for us to look at and we ended up spending around $300. I’ve been back numerous times and I’m always greeted and get help when I ask for it

  The staff is so unfriendly and not helpful. From the moment you walk in store. No greeting no can I help you. Go to make my purchase the gentleman employee didn’t say a word had complete frown on his face. Also have to mention that when my teenage daughter was trying on clothes he stood right outside her door angry and watching like she was going to steel something. I had to go back there to be by her because I was getting uncomfortable there was no one else trying on clothes at the time. When I spend that kind of money in a store I should get the best customer service and experience. Just all around Horrible experience I will not return here and continue to shop at lululemon. The staff there is so friendly and makes you feel like an actual human being. Plus they give you nice bags not the cheap bags like Alo

  My visit to Alo with my wife and young children was one of the most unwelcoming retail experiences I’ve had. From the moment we walked in, not a single employee greeted us, acknowledged us, or offered help. We spent 25 minutes searching for items on our own, and many things we needed were either missing, not stocked, or impossible to find without assistance. What made this visit completely unacceptable was the way the staff looked at my children. The attitude gave off a clear message: kids aren’t wanted here. It felt like because it’s an expensive store, they assumed families with young kids shouldn’t be there. No parent should ever feel judged or out of place simply for shopping with their children. The environment was cold, unhelpful, and frankly disrespectful. For a brand that claims to offer a premium experience, the customer service was the exact opposite. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. This location has lost my business.
